Anne Belov

    Anne Belov has been painting and drawing for more than 25 years.  She received her BFA from Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts) in Philadelphia, PA and her MFA from the University of Washington.  Her work is in many collections and has been exhibited in Alaska, California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C. and Washington State.  Her work has been featured in "American Artist Magazine" in 1988, 1990, 1993 and 1995.     Anne Belov states, "My objective is to create a sense of place and time through light, color, composition, and relationships between objects.   My work contains both still life and landscape images, sometimes in the same painting.

     "I was attracted to the art of etching by my love of drawing, and the line illustrations of an earlier era.  Building my compositions through line, texture and tonalities satisfies an impulse that is different than painting with acrylics or watercolors.  It is my sincere belief that different media and techniques feed each other, and that I bring things to etching from my paintings, and then back again to printmaking."

Beki Killorian

"As an Artist, I try to express my artistic emotion in such a way that the viewer  instantly feels and recognizes the individuality I bring to each painting or print I create."

     Beki Killorin, a native Oklahoma, received most of her training in art in her home state.  Oil, Inks, mixed media and watercolors have been the cornerstone of her artistic growth, through the years she developed her skills in these media and gained national recognition in the arena of museums, galleries and sales.  In 1983, she took a major step into intaglio printmaking. The technical challenge of this medium, combined with her already well-defined skills as a professional artist, have a positive avenue for print-making as a full time career.  Today her etchings and watercolors are represented both national and abroad.
     In 1987 Beki and her husband relocated to the Pacific Northwest of the United States.  From her studio on a small island in Washington's Puget Sound, she produces paintings and hand colored prints.
     Her style brings a contemporary look to familiar subjects, imbuing birds, flowers and other images of the natural world with a unique life and spirit.  Each work receives her special imprint.....a small red dot the precedes her signature.  It is an acknowledgment of God's ever present and lasting love and and affirmation of the wonder of His creation.

Elizabeth Ockwell

 Born in Bozeman, Montana.  B.A. University of  and the Washington, 1967.  Studied painting at the Kolner Werkschulen in Cologne, Germany and at the Hochschule fur bildende Kunste, Hamburg.  M.F.A in Painting, Northwestern University, Chicago, 1974.  Taught at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1975 - 2009. 

Jennifer Bowman

“I believe everyone is an artist in some way, whether it is the presentation of a fine meal or the construction of a beautiful home, the wording of a contract or the way a mother raises a child. Each of us has the ability to make art. Mine just happens to be in paint. ”
      Jennifer Bowman is an award winning northwest artist who has been exhibiting and competing professionally for the past 16 years. She has shown throughout the Puget Sound region, Arizona, California, and Mexico. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections locally to international collections including France and the Netherlands.

     Jennifer and husband, Bill, traveled from Seattle to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and back again on their sailboat during 1996 and 1997. During their travels, she was able to spend an intensive year of study mastering her techniques. Her paintings focused on colorful market scenes, images of bougainvillea-draped buildings, and realistic renditions of the cruising community's yachts in tropical settings.

     When the Bowmans returned to the states, they spent a year in San Diego where Jennifer was commissioned to paint over 40 boat portraits. That number has tripled since then. Her work has graced the cover of 48 Degrees North six times and she has been the Artist for Whidbey Island Race week for two years. The varied and vivid scenic backgrounds of the many boat paintings enhanced Jennifer's ability to portray nature's moods. She is the winner of the coveted 2004 Skagit Valley Tulip poster contest and the creator of the 2004 Edmonds Arts Festival poster as well.

     She teaches in her hometown of Anacortes, Washington, gateway to the San Juan Islands, where she divides her time between that, keeping up with her nine-year-old son and occasionally going sailing with her husband.
